Description
8 Switch Power Control System with Micro Switch Pad
XTC Power Products Leads the way in UTV Wiring. Powering multiple accessories has become easier than ever with our Plug and Play Power Control Systems. Unlike other switch systems available, the Power Control System’s designed with the installer in mind. The PCS-81 utilizes a custom micro 8 button switch pad that takes up the same dash space as a standard rocker switch, saving sons of space and time to install.
Power Delivered
The PCS-81 includes 2 x 30 amp, 2 x 25 amp and 4 x 20 amp high current circuits on relays. The design reduces voltage spikes from field collapse, protecting LED lights and other sensitive accessories. Additionally included is an accessible internal fuse to protect each circuit with 125 Amp Main Fuse on the power supply line.
The Power Control Systems Barrier Strip
Pro wiring installers have been using barrier strips in off-road vehicle builds for years. Some good reasons would be aesthetics, along with ease of use when adding new connections and troubleshooting down the road. Each screw point on the barrier strip has a different colored wire that corresponds with the fuse box. Included butt terminals make adding accessories quick and easy with no other parts needed or bundles of excess wire under the hood. Shortening the barrier strips wires will not void the warranty as well.
Switch Power Harness Configurations
Designed for UTV and Off Road vehicles that utilize OE style rocker switches, the PCS systems have become a great Power Control System for switch mounting locations with the PCS-81 being the simplest to install yet. The XTC 8 Button Micro Switch Pad consumes only a single rocker switch location, thereby alleviating the need for additional mounting brackets, holes and labor compared to a traditional 8 gang switch pad.
Modular Power Connection
The PCS-81 has a modular power connector with +/- ring terminals that connect to ignition power.
The PCS-81 has a single gang 8 button switch, it comes with a blue LED backlight that comes on with the ignition, when the circuit is activated, the button turns red.
Using an internal jumper the systems circuits can be set to power up with the key or without the key, in Keyed mode the circuits only work when the key is on. In the full time mode, each circuit works regardless of the key position.
